A few notes from Sunday night’s practice:

• True freshman Kameron Eloph was in for one play at left guard against Tulane.

“I think he went the wrong way,” Herman said.

Eloph, who is 6-3 and 290 pounds, began the season on the defensive line but has been moved to offensive line for the rest of the season to provide depth.

“He’s an offensive lineman until the bowl game and then we will re-evaluate where he’s going to be in January.”

During Sunday’s practice, the Cougars experimented with a different rotation on the offensive line, moving Carter Wall to right tackle, Colton Freeman to right guard and inserting Will Noble at center. The left side remained the same with left tackle Alex Cooper and left guard Mason Denley.

“That’s possibly a lineup we might be able to use,” coach Tom Herman said.

• Running back Javin Webb tweaked his ankle late in practice last week and was available only if needed against Tulane. Webb originally hurt the ankle in the Oct. 8 win against SMU. Herman said Webb is expected to play Saturday at UCF.

• Center Colton Freeman returned to practice Sunday after missing all but one series with a stomach virus.

• Damien Parris missed Sunday’s practice with the illness that seems to be going around the offensive line.
